One of the UI topic is "Header" - what header relates to which editor. For now it's more theoretical idea, but I use it for a few years in a way that covers my needs).

The idea came from colored keyboard that use some proffessionals to map functions).

So probably good way to faster recognize what is what for some of you :)

Current default layout ... colored

Or ... each editor doesn't has to use unique color necessearly. Colors can be derivated from several main colors.

The editors line separator is coded in black, so the only one way to make header visually merged with editor itself is some light theme using same (similar) color for header and background.

Not an easy task with current design:

- elements needs to be framed otherwise it's hard to track related functions

- strokes doesn't have an alpha parametr in theme setup

- border inside editor is probably "economic" too much

Probably too many colors for someones taste, but definetely easier to recognize what is what.

Few grey values can do probably the similar job as well.

2.8 redesign (maybe) reduces number of current editors (like timeline under node graph editor), so it wouldn't be so many colors at the end.
